General Guidelines
1. Parents and guardians are requested to see that their servants, who take their children from school, come to school only at the appointed time, and do not loiter near the gate. 2. No child will be allowed to go to a friend's or relative's house without the written permission from the parent and Principal. 3. Parents and guardians are not permitted to meet their wards or their teachers in the class rooms. 4. No information will be given on the telephone. The school phone is reserved for official school business and emergencies. Students can use the phone only in case of emergency. The school personnel will place the call. 5. Parents are requested to cooperate with the school authorities by guiding their children to maintain discipline. each student's studies and progress in the class should be closely watched and followed for any remarks made by the teachers. 6. Parents are requested to see that their children are neatly dressed and attend the school regularly and punctually. 7. Parents should see that their children study their lessons regularly and do their homework properly. 8. Private tuitions are not encouraged as the school work is adequate for the learning. If required, remedial teaching is provided by the school on parent's request without any extra payment. 9. Change of address or phone number of the student, if any, should be intimated to the class teacher and the school office immediately to update the records. 10. Parents who desire to seek information or make complaints can do so to the Principal/Vice Principal or to PRO by prior appointment. Complaining about the teachers or the school staff in the presence of the student should be avoided because it causes the child to lose respect for the teacher and affects child's education. 11. Absence from school for mere social functions is strongly discouraged.
Transport Facility
TRANSPORT FACILITIES
1. School Transport through contractor is available for students from class I onwards. They are required to be at their respective stops 5 minutes before the scheduled time. 2. Transport fees must be paid along with the school fees, failing which the student's name will be struck off from the conveyance list. Transport charges are fixed and revised as per contract conditions. 3. Ten months conveyance charges are to be paid, except if the school functions in the month of May and in that case eleven months transport fees will be payable. 4. Students will not be allowed to withdraw bus facilities in the middle of the session. 5. Routes of the school buses are drawn up and prescribed by the school and can be checked from the office. 6. All bus stops are decided by the school authorities. 7. Request for change in the routes or stops of the bus to suit an individual's convenience for a week or a day will not be entertained. 8. Children will not be dropped at their doors. 9. Small children must be received at the bus stop by the parents or guardians. If no one is waiting to collect the child, he/she will be brought back to school office and must be collected by the parents from the office. This is in the interest and safety of the child. 10. The school has been informed by the Directorate of Education and Transport Commissioner that the plying of Maruti Vans and other unsafe vehicles e.g. unauthorized LPG/CNG vehicles, auto rickshaws, cycle rickshaws for transport of school children, is illegal. Kindly ensure that safety norms fixed by the Govt./Supreme Court must be adhered to by the private transport owners, hired by the parents for the transportation of their wards. The school does not take any responsibility if something untowards happens by using the illegal means of transport by the parents. 11. One way usage of transport facility is not entertained. The bus fee must be paid even though for your own convenience, a child is dropped or picked up either direction i.e. one way. 12. The parents are required to motivate their wards to maintain discipline at the time of boarding, de-boarding and during the operation of the bus. Note: Students whose insubordination or rowdiness causes inconvenience to the driver or conductor or annoyance to fellow travelers, or if an admonition from the Principal, fail to produce the desired effect, will not be permitted to continue using the contract bus.
OBTAINING A RAILWAY CONCESSION
Railway concessions to one's native place are available during vacations. Parents who wish to obtain a railway ticket concession for their children, should apply to the office well before the journey date.

Code of conduct
CODE OF CONDUCT
1. Every student must bring his/her diary to school daily. 2. Books (other than school books), and magazines are not allowed in the school without the teacher's or Principal's permission. The Principal has the right to confiscate books, newspapers, periodicals, or any other item which is considered objectionable. 3. Borrowing or lending of money is forbidden. 4. The School is not responsible for the loss of goods. It is advised not to bring valuable things (expensive watches, fountain pens, etc.) to school. Daily pocket money should not be more than necessary. 5. Books, stationery, bag, Tiffin box etc. should bear the name of the owner. The school is not responsible for stationery, books and clothes etc. that get lost. 6. Any child who attends school without proper and required text books, exercise books, test registers, practical files, pencils, scale, erasers, pens etc. will be given a note in the diary which must be countersigned by the parents. 7. Any notes, a child misses due to absence, not having his/her class note book, not keeping pace with the class work, or any other reason, are the students and parentís sole responsibility. They must secure such notes on their own. 8. All students are expected to act in an orderly and respectful manner, being courteous, kind, moral, honest and using clean language at all times. 9. No mobile phones are allowed in the school premises during school hours. 10. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, disobedience and disregard towards members of the school staff justify dismissal.
Leave Rules
LEAVING SCHOOL, BEFORE SCHOOL TIME IS OVER
1. No child is permitted to leave the school premises without the written permission of the Principal. The Principalís written permission is secured through the written request of the parent in the childís diary. 2. Parents are expected not to make requests on loose sheets of papers. 3. In case of extreme emergency, parents should meet the P.R.O with the request to take the child out of school. 4. Leave for half a day should be avoided as far as possible for security reasons. 5. On the day of weekly test, no half day leave is allowed otherwise the related paper will not be checked.
LEAVE ON MEDICAL GROUNDS
1. Leave for sickness or other valid reasons is granted on written application by the parents upto seven days, beyond which medical certificate is needed for grant of medical leave.
2. A medical certification issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner is required at the time of admission showing that the child has been immunized for BCG, Polio Primary & Booster, T.B- Primary and Re-Vaccination, DTP-Primary, Measles and M.M.R. Students already admitted in the school are also expected to secure this immunity.
3. A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a doctorís fitness certificate permitting him/her to return. The prescribed period of quarantine is:
(a) Chicken Pox 3 weeks of complete falling off scabs. (b) Measles Two weeks after rashes disappear. (c) Mumps Until swelling has gone. (d) Whooping Cough Six weeks
Parents are requested to co-operate with the school and should not send their children till the quarantine period is over.
